Welcome to Deep Space Five! Now that you've chosen us as your new home for your simming experience, there are some basic guidelines that you must know before posting.
1) Basic OF regulations state that you must post every two weeks; however I require that you post at least once per week. Or more should you wish to. This ensures that all players have a hand in the plots and that all players are current and involved.
2) Please keep current with regards to where and when everyone is. This is important for story continuity. We use a timeline of station days and GMT.
3) Should you wish to substantially use another's character...always offer said player a JP rather than risk possibly using that character incorrectly. Any player breaking this rule will be severely dealt with.
4) NPC's...while they may be used by all players, must be respected as characters of their own. They were made by one of the PC's and should stay true to themselves. Before using an NPC check who the owner is - if the NPC is highly personal to that player always ask if you may use it and check that what you will use it for is acceptable. This is more a matter of courtesy than anything else.
5. Remember protocol......a junior member of the staff isn't going to 'hang' with the CO. Think, 'what would Picard do?'
6. A player cannot move the station into the next 'station day'. Only the CO is allowed to do so (or someone with the CO's permission).

Be realistic in your posts. Always check with the CO to see if something could possibly encroach into the realms of impossibility.
8. Are you having fun? If not....time to visit the Wizard! Please take the yellow brick road...he's in the castle on the left!
